Landscaping round the Hall
Thank you to all those who turned out on a wild, wet and windy Saturday to help plants trees and shrubs; in some cases after a hectic evening and a late night.....
So good was the team that after an hour, the majority of the planting was completed!

Coach Trip to Merseyside
There will be an Irvings Coach trip to Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May, leaving the Wetheral Village Green 7.45 am, returning 7.30pm approx.

There will be an Irvings Coach trip to Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May, leaving the Wetheral Village Green 7.45 am, returning 7.30pm approx.
This is a rare opportunity to see all three grand Cunard liners, Victoria, Mary 2, and Elizabeth, all berthed together.
This event will be part of the Mersey River Festival with plenty of attractions happening at the same time.
Cost is £10.50 for the return coach trip to the Albert Dock area, Liverpool.

Permanent foyer Photo display
We are working with Image Sign Makers, Scotby, to produce a perspex tryptich with many scenes, both old and new, of events, people and places involving the village hall community..... (some interesting village scenes circa 1914-thank you Geoff and Isabel, with many current photos from John)
Favourite photos which have been lent to us, are being scanned into a computer, which are then composed, arranged and copied in black and white, then printed directly onto the perspex. These three perspex sheets will then be laminated with a white background and attached to the burgundy wall in the foyer, making a display for all to see.
All borrowed photos and images will then be safely returned to their owners.
