Built for the community and run by volunteers from the community.
A big thank you to all those in the village who have contributed time, made donations and attended many events over many years before, during and since building the new community Hall, including those who clean, tidy, place flowers and replace books often without being on any committee, other than being a keen community member.
Current News
The community hall has been fortunate to recently receive funding from several sources enabling the entrance doors to be automated (hooray!), also replacing inadequate fire doors and improving the sound quality with more baffles in the main Hall.
At the AGM, Monday 30th April it was reported that the number of groups using the hall has risen, making the bookings and running of the Hall a much busier job for volunteers. The directors also welcomed Helen Hayward onto their team who will be a great representative for young families in the village.
Hilary and David Keers organised a very successful fundraising quiz night on Saturday 14th April. Once again, they put the fun into fundraising, money raised going to the village boules/petanque pitch.
