Current news from the Hall
We are setting up a book swap in the Foyer of the Halland collecting books in good condition for all age groups. To contribute books, or join in with this venture, contact Jane James 560301
Village Community Celebrations for Queen’s 90th Birthday Sunday 12th June
50 or so people attended The Joint Church Service, lead by.Rev. Janet Preston celebrating the Queens steadfast Christian faith and her dedicated service to the country. £144.80 was collected for The British Red Cross Carlisle Flood Appeal. TheCommunity Picnic at 12 noon was well attended beginning with picnics in the Main Hall, moving out to the playing field as the sun shone. A good community time provided with bouncy castle and live music. Thanks to Hilary and David Keers who organised the event.

Wetheral Village Green 1pm opening with Graeme Watt from The Wheatsheaf Lots of fun for all ages.
Thank you to all those who have donated prizes for the children and adult tombola, also bottles (in gift bags). If you would still like to contribute these items to the Fete, there is a box in the foyer of the Hall, or contact Hilary.

A trip to Dumfries House has been arranged on Wednesday 17th August 9am departure from Wetheral.
